Default Concept Class: Nethermancer

Neathermancer

Overall
The Nethermancer is a support class, its rather weak on its own. It helps it fellow allies by creating portals and safe areas (repelling wards) &
they can cause limit teleport by placing entrance and exit gates on diffrent locations and the two are then connected, these conduits do not work at certain places for various reasons.

History
The nethermancers are powerfull spellcasters that has broken free from the mists or have been released by the emisaries or Gods, their connection with the netherrealm has changed them.
Nethermancers use their connection with the mist and can connect netherrealms with the material realm. sometime allowing people to travel distances, or shorter. Their powers are/where often used to protect larger cities and outposts from roaming monsters, and restricting movment between areas for univited guests. Though such grand portals & wards are time consuming and not suited for the more adventerous. Their members are mainly Dwayna or Grenth worshipers.

After noticing that the balance has begun to decay & that the nether realms spirits have become increasingly hostile some of their members have started to take action.

Attributes

Neatherwalk
Gating (creating entrances and exits for allies to use)- may cause enemies to appear if opened in wrong places
Netherplane portals- may cause enemies to appear if opened in wrong places
Summoning neather spirits/creatures from the neatherplane

Neathervoid Primary
summon neather spirits /creatures from the neatherplane - may cause enemies to appear if summoning in wrong places
netherform (simmilar to mistform and shadowform), may be attacked by neatherspirits

Torment/haunting
wards& hexes
summon tormenting spirits (similar to ritualists)

Exorcise
creating obstacles, spiritwells (ie bloodwells) & wards
exorcising spirits & summons
rest well/corpse exploiting skills

Equipment & stats
Simmilar health & energy as ritualist, the Nethermancer is kinda related to necros and ritualits, armor also.

New Game mechanic :Netherplane

Netherplane (an additional mirror area is accesable) it is a warped mirror area of the "material realm" and has enemies also, though these enemies dont drop items at all. Additionally dead enemies and certain powerfull enemies in the "material realm" may reapear and/ or be present in the mirrored neather realm.

Certain skills are have diffrent effect inside the neatherplane, and certain effects active in the material realm are also present in its twin neatherrealm.

Certain places that are innaccesable in the material realm (and vice versa), are made accesable by entering into the neather realm (where it is accesable) and walk the distance then exit back

Netherspirits may be seen as moving 2d shadows in material realm, and certain foes in material realm will simmilary be seen in the neather realm.

Netherplane is like underworld & maps doesnt work

(for less work for gamedesigners the netherrealm may be an identical area (especially chapter1&2), just dyed blue... with a spirit texture on the enemy mobs)

Inspiration: Soulreaver, blood omens: legacy of cain series , factions "closer to the stars" & the emisaries talk about spirits that cant be seen or fought by the heroes

I like it, so I will say its good.

Netherplane is very interesting idea, I like the mob/dead spirit that would exisit in such realm. Other attributes need to develop more.

I really like this class, a lot! Has a lot of potential. I think you should expand it further, and come up with some skills to show us.

I'm not too fond of the Primary Attribute being what it is. It seems like it's the focus of the class, true, but it could also make this class utterly useless as a secondary. Primary Attributes generally have multiple uses, and can be combined with other classes.

What about a kind of reverse Soul Reaping - type attribute? Something like this: For each point in "insert attribute name here", you gain +5 Health each time a creature is created or summoned nearby. It would work for the Neathermancer's summoned creatures, Necro's minions, and Ranger and Rit spirits. At "insert attribute name here" level 16, you'd be getting 80 health each time a creature was made... pretty nice!

Just a thought.
